Abstract

The non-noble metal desulfurizer of active carbon was prepared by using equal volume method. The effects of pretreatment process of active carbon carrier and different non-noble metals contents on the properties of desulfurizer were studied. The results showed that the desulfurization property of desulfurizer carried by active carbon pretreated with vapor under adequate condition was better than that of the desulfurizer carried by non-pretreated active carbon. The sulfur capacity of desulfurizer was increasing with the rising of content for non-noble metal. When the mass fraction of non-noble metals increased by 5.0% , accompanied with the content rising for active component, the improvement for the sulfur capacity of desulfurizer was not obvious. With heatingup between 20~60 ℃, the sulfur capacity of desulfurizer raised slightly. In case of over 80 ℃,the sulfur capacity of desulfurizer decreased dramatically. The pressure had no effect on the sulfur capacity of desulfurizer.
