Abstract
Basic lunar soil stimulant were experimentally produced from basaltic scoria on the basis of the average data of lunar soil.Fundamental properties of the stimulant including chemical composition,mineralogy,density,particle shape and particle size distribution,shear strength were measured and compared with those of Apollo sample.In addition,thermal properties of the basic lunar regolith were evaluated.The test results were almost within the range of lunar regolith samples.As an ideal lunar soil stimulant,it could be used for the relative research of the life supporting system.
