Abstract
The principle and structure of CMOS APS(active pixel sensor) are presented, as well as the application potential in star tracker compared with CCD. The measurement accuracies of both CCD and CMOS APS are analyzed and compared. The development prospect of CMOS APS star tracker is forecasted.
