Abstract
CMOS active pixel sensor makes progress quickly in recent years because of its low cost,small volume,light weight,low power consumption and single chip integration compared with CCD.In particular,CMOS active pixel sensor is used in the spatial field based on its radiation-proof characteristic.The theory,properties and research progress of CMOS APS are introduced,as well as the last research progress and application status in space application,specially in star tracker.
