Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical value of Fetal fibronectin Detection in combination with cervical length measurement to predict preterm birth. Methods 120 cases of pregnant women with symptoms of threatened premature labor(Premature birth group 60 cases + Threatened preterm labor group 60 cases)and 60 cases normal pregnant women with parturient underwent full-term were selected in our hospital from June 2013 to June 2014 admitted. All pregnant women took the fetal fibronectin detection in combination with cervical length measurement, and then compared the diagnosis result with the actual result to judge the clinical value of the indexes to predict preterm birth. Results The positive detection rate of preterm labor group, threatened preterm labor group and control group were respectively 78.3%, 88.3% and 8.3%, and there were significantly differences between two of them(P 0.05). Conclusion Fetal fibronectin and cervical length measurement can effectively improve the positive predictive of threatened premature delivery, premature delivery rate,which do good to pregnancy outcome and be worthy of further promotion in clinical use.
