Abstract
The intermediate citric anhydride which was a water base cutting fluid of anti-rust and lubricant additive was synthesized by citric acid and acetic anhydride. The raw material and different temperature products were characterized by infared spectroscopy. The optimum conditions for preparing citric anhydride were that citric acid:acetic anhydride was 1:2(molar ratio),reaction time was 18h and reaction temperature was 35~C℃by analyzing infared spectrum diagrams.
