Abstract
Citric acid anhydride was synthesized by citric acid(CA) and acetic anhydride(AA) with acetic acid as solvent. The effects of reaction time, reaction temperature, the dosage of solvent and molar ratio of raw materials on yields were studied through orthogonal test. The optimum condition was: reaction time 18h,reaction temperature 37 ℃,molar ratio of n(CA)∶ n(AA)∶ n(acetic acid) 1∶1.8∶2,the yield 84%.Structure of citric acid anhydride was proved to be five-number cyclo-anhydride by IR spectrum and its molecular 174.
