Abstract
It pointed out that the stability of bridge structure was one of the main factors relating to safety and economy,which has the same important meaning as strength.Taking half-through steel arch bridge as example, the stability theory and calculation method of arch bridge and arch rib were introduced by mechanical analysis,so as to solve the problem of stability need to consider in arch bridge structure design.
