The Empirical Analysis and Reflection on the Development of Characteristic Economy Supported by Regional Leading Industries

On the basis of regional resource advantage and marketing competition advantage,characteristic economy is the economic structure with the characteristic industries and enterprises and products which are formed by competitions.Characteristic economy is the regional economy led by superior industries and the leading industries is the core of characteristic economy which is critical to the formation,enhancement,and sustainable development of characteristic economy. Therefore,taking Henan Province as the example,this paper explores how to choose rigional leading industry scientifically by the means of configuring the criterion and index applied in the process of choosing it and taking such factors as regional resource condition,industry situation and technology development into consideration.At the same time,it provides some suggestions for the development of regional characteristic economy supported by regional leading industries.
