Abstract

The characteristic of pyrolysis for some wood used in decorating were studied with linear temperature programming. By analysising TGA, DTA, and DTA curves, the authors found that oxygen concentration and heating rate have more remarkably effect on pyrolysis process than gas flux. The pyrolysis process fit the two-stage reaction model, the first mass loss process fit two order reaction model and the second mass loss process fit one order reaction model. The kinetic parameters of pyrolysis for the samples were obtained.
