Study on Optimization Structure of Urban and Rural Land Use in Huining of Gansu Province

Based on the construction land data in Huining in Gansu Province from 1996 to 2005,the distribution of urban and rural construction in Huining County was studied and urban and rural land using was rising.Urban construction land and rural residential land on average was too high.There were problems such as unreasonable structure,urban construction land ratio and issues of the low level of intensive using of land;future total urban and rural land will continue to expand,and the size of rural residential land will be reduced.Urban and rural construction land was predicted and optimized.The ideas on the layout of the urban and rural construction land in Huining County were as follow: identifying spatial structure,stimulating urban and rural land use by industrial development,promoting land use by the construction of transportation facilities,and coordinating ecological factors and optimization of urban and rural land use.
