Challenges and Countermeasures of China's Population

Chinese population problem is more and more serious:the quantity increases rapidly while the quality improves slowly So the employment pressure becomes even the heaviest burden to the present government.Based on the UN's population survey,we examine systematically the long-term development of Chinese population.We would present some suggestions on the Chinese population policy.They are as follows.The birth control policy must be strictly carried out on the one hand,but on the other hand,the birth control policy should be adjusted in 2010 and retirement policy should be adjusted in 2020.The products,industry and social and individual insurance for the aged people should be developed.The new view should be respected that the marriage between people at different age levels and with different nationalities should be understood.
