Abstract

Objective:To study the procalcitonin(PCT),C-reactive protein(CRP) combined detection in the early diagnosis of neonatal infectious disease clinical application value.Methods:PCT,CRP in 67 cases of severe infectious the neonatal(severe infections group),58 cases of local infection of neonatal(localized infection group),32 patients with non-infectious diseases neonatal(non-infection group) and 46 cases of normal newborns(control group) were examined.Differences in PCT and CRP among the groups were observed and difference between before and after therapy in severe infections group was observed.Results:There were statistical differences in serum PCT concentration among the groups(P0.05),there were statistical differences in serum CRP concentration between severe infection group and the other groups(P0.05),there was no difference between local infection and non-infection group(P0.05),compared with the normal control group there was a statistically significant difference.There were significant differences in PCT and CRP positive rate between severe infection group and the other groups(P0.05).There were significant differences in PCT,CRP,neutrophils between before and after treatment in severe infection group(P0.05).PCT and neutrophils(r=0.609,P0.05),CRP and neutrophils(r=0.481,P0.05),PCT and CRP(r=0.559,P0.05) were positively correlated by the Spearman correlation analysis.Conclusion:Combined detection of PCT,CRP in early diagnosis of neonatal infectious disease,monitoring disease has important clinical application value.
