Abstract
The accuracy and credibility of the GDP statistics in China have been questioned by some scholars.One of the most notable manifestations in Chinese GDP statistics is the inconformity of the sum of the local GDP statistics and national GDP statistics.The paper testifies the severity of this issue after analyzing historical statistics,points that there is no consensus on the accuracy of national GDP statistics,and then concluds four widely acknowledged causes of the inconformity in GDP statistics and several solutions by literature review.On the basis of existing research,the paper finds the orientation and path to solve the connection problem between local and national GDP statistics.
