Discourse on the Technology Spillover of FDI

Abstract

The technology spillover effect of foreign direct investment(FDI) is involuntary diffusion of invisible capital included in FDI,such as human capital,research and development,and managerial experience.This paper reviews domestic and foreign research results about the technology spillover of FDI,analyzes the functioning mechanism of the technology spillover of FDI,and probes into how to bring the positive effect of technology spillover into play in China's economic development.
