Abstract

Objective To investigate the quality of outpatient prescription in our hospital,so as to improve the quality of prescription and rational drug usage.Methods A total of 1 200 outpatient prescriptions were retrospectively analyzed according to Administration Rules on Prescription.Results The average number of drugs per prescription was 2.7,the percentage of injections and antibiotics prescribed were 33.8% and 33.4%,respectively.167 prescriptions were unqualified,accounting for 14% of the total number of prescriptions.Conclusion The rate of unqualified prescriptions and inappropriate prescription are too high.The prescription writing should be further emphasized on standardization,and rational drug usage should be strengthened.
