Abstract
Effects of simulated acid rain with different pH values on the germination and seedling growth of Sorghum sudanence Wancao No.2 were studied. The results indicated that acid rain could lead to soil acidification. The pH values over 4.0 had no adverse effects on seed germination and seedling growth of Sorghum sudanence, however, the pH values below 4.0 inhibited the seed germination and seedling growth, and the lower the pH value, the greater the negative effects.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
