Academic Value of Dunhuang Version of Zhouyi

Discovery of the Dunhuang manuscript, Zhouyi(The Book of Changes), has provided a new research material for studying Zhouyi and for understanding medieval Dunhuang culture. This paper discusses the following aspects: the separate volumes and writing style of Zhouyi Zhu, which was written by Wang Bi and popular at Dunhuang; Zhouyi Shiwen should be a separate edition of Jindian Shiwen written by Lu Deming; the collation value of Zhouyi Zhu; the relationship between Zhouyi Zhu and the local horoscopy and culture of Dunhuang; and the Tang dynasty imperial examinations and its practicability reflected in Zhouyi Jingdian Shiwen.
