Abstract
Objective To analysis the facial nerve motor conduction in patients with facial paralysis, discuss the function in the early diagnosis. Methods The action potential amplitude of motor conduction of both healthy and affected sides in 43 patients within a week were detected and compared. Results All of the amplitude of facial nerve in affected sides were declined, there were three patients with no motor conduction induced, showed pathological power resting. There was a significant difference in amplitude between the healthy and affected sides(P0.05).Conclusion The detection of facial nerve motor conduction is one of the objective indexes for the early diagnosis of Facial paralysis,it can be an index for prognosis.
