Abstract
Objective To investigate the effects of intravenous injection of allogeneic bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs) on cellular and humoral immunity in rats. Methods Rats were randomly divided into experimental group and control group, then injected with MSCs or saline respectively for three times via tail vein. All rats were killed on the 10th day after injection. The levels of serous IL-10,IL-2 and TNF-α were measured by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA).The levels of CD4+ and CD8+ T cells were measured by flow cytometry. Results The level of CD4+ T cells decreased significantly, while the level of CD8+ T cells increased significantly, then the ratio of CD4+/CD8+ was significantly lower in the experimental group than those in the control group(P0.05).The level of IL-10 in the experimental group was significantly higher, while the level of IL-2 was significantly lower in the experimental group than those in the control group(P0.05).Conclusion Intravenous injection of allogeneic bone marrow MSCs can negatively regulate immunity in rat.
