Tradition and Modernization:Comparative Study of Chinese Aesthetic Modernity in the 20th Century

Aesthetic modernity is always a hot issue in academic field.Chinese aesthetic modernity in the twentieth century was not only from the stimulation of the western aesthetic modernity,but also from its own modernization.The review of western aesthetic modernity used as a reference,from a comparative perspective,this article illustrated the differences of Chinese traditional aesthetics and modern aesthetics in the changes of aesthetic subject,aesthetic object and aesthetic ideal,and featured the practice and experience properties of the aesthetic modernity.
