Abstract
On the basis of researches already done on Chinese aesthetic modernity,the present article lays stress on the generation of Chinese modernity and aesthetic modernity.Chinese aesthetic modernity has its own characteristics compared with that of Western aesthetics.For example,it procrastinates in generation,and it lacks of independence,and has an inborn forfeiture in transcendence.
