Abstract
Spherical silver powders were prepared from silver nitrate by liquid-phase reduction method with formaldehyde as the reductant and succinic acid as the dispersant.The effects of the dosage of succinic acid,the concentrations of silver nitrate and formaldehyde,and pH value on the particle size of prepared silver powder were studied.The results indicate highly pure spherical silver powders with average particle size of 3 μm are obtained when c(silver nitrate),c(formaldehyde) and pH value are 0.02 mol/L,1.44 mol/L and 12.5~13.0,respectively.
