Abstract
This paper reports the preparation of SiO2 nanoparticles using tetraethyl orthosilicate(TEOS) as reaction precursor and NH3 as catalyst through the sol-gel technology. The effect parameters such as TEOS concentration, ammonia concentration and reaction temperature towards the size of silica nanoparticles have been investigated. The results show the size of silica nanoparticles increase with the increasing of TEOS and NH3 concentration, however, decreased with the increasing of reaction temperature.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
