Abstract
During the chlorosulfonation of N-acetanilide to p-acetamidobenzenesulfonyl chloride, sodium sulphate was added in late stage. The major factors influencing the reaction such as mole ratio of the reactants, reaction temperature, reaction time, solvents and sodium sulphate were studied. The optimal mole ratio of the reactants was probed as 1∶4.3.With the improved technology, the product yield of chlorosulfonation reaction was improved evidently, and that, the amount of waste released was decreased.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
