Abstract
Nanjiang valley park is situated at the center of Guizhou plateau with subtropic humid monsoon climate and special karst geomorphology. It is covered with karst vegetation rich in plant varieties. The vascular plants collected along the resort area are 414 species, belonging to 277 genera and 118 families.Plant flora has an ancient origin and some specific species.Geographical composition has 13 distribution patterns.Besides cosmopolitan distribution genus, temperate distribution and tropical distribution account for 51.7% and 44.9% respectively. Many woody plants in temperate distribution pattern are mixed with tropical and subtropical types especialy,no typical tropical plants in this area. Therefore,we can conclude that plant flora of Nanjiang valley park has a transition feature and its geographical composition is subtropical character.
