Abstract
As the construction of urban rail transit boosts, it is in urgent need to study the key techniques and basic theory concerned and to formulate relevant construction and design criteria. In order to safeguard the safety and steadiness of the running train and to keep passenger comfortable, it has to begin with the evaluation index system and to formulate rational line design parameters and to select rational train type and rail structure so as to lower the project cost and accelerate the construction speed. The evaluation index system for urban rail transit operation is reviewed, and their reference values are provided to technically support the construction of urban rail transit.
