Abstract
The three factors namely field,tenor and mode developed by Register Theory have great effect on the linguistic features of business English e-mails,specializing in the relations between field and vocabulary features,tenor and syntax features and mode and sentence features.Knowing them well helps us to grasp the stylistic features of business English e-mails,write good business English e-mails and achieve the effective communication in foreign trade.
