Abstract
Adventitious shoots were regenerated from cotyledon and cotyledon nodes of pumpkin. The result showed that cotyledon being used as explants, the plant regeneration can obtain from the way of growing callus, and cotyledon nodes being used as explants, plant regeneration can obtain direct from inducing adventitious bud.At the same time, the result showed that the optimum medium for adventitious bud was MS medium supplement with 1 mg/L 6-BA + 0.5 mg/L NAA.The callus induced in the medium of MS medium supplement with 0.5 mg/L 6-BA + 0.5 mg/L 2,4-D was best;and the adventitious root was induced on MS medium supplemented with 1 mg/L 6-BA + 0.5 mg/L IAA.
