Abstract
After the reforming and opening, Chinese vocational education has made great advancement. Vocational education in Henan province experience four stages : Recovering, fast developing, developing under law and regulation, and readjusting. In new history background, we should rethink of vocational education from new angle, such as constructing a well - off society and so on. We should build vocational education system scientifically, defini-tude its development objective, emphasize the enrollment and employment, promote the scale development of rural vocational education and the quality of urban vocational education, do great efforts to make vocational education satisfied by the people.
