Abstract
Phosphotungstics acid with Dawson structure(P2W18) supported on SiO2 were prepared by the sol-gel method. The catalytic performance in synthesis of n-Butyl acetate with acetic acid and n-butanol was investigated and the mechanism was discussed. The optimized condition were as follows:the supported quantity is 25%,the mass ratio of the catalyst to total reactant was 1.12%,the molar ratio of n-butyl alcohol to acetic acid was 2.0:1.2,the reaction time was 2 hours, the reaction temperature was 120 ℃.Yield of n-Butyl acetat could reach 95.30% under the optimum conditions. The catalyst could be reused for 5 times and the isolated of adipic acid was still above 63.24%.
