Abstract
As Ce( SO4)2can obtain the photo-induced electrons and thereby enhance the photocatalytic oxidation ability of semiconductor,we established a simple method of dye concentration determination by using a nano TiO 2-Ce( SO4)2synergistic photocatalytic oxidation system and fluorescence spectrophotometric method. As alizarin red was used as simulated dyeing wastewater, the optimum reaction conditions for dye degradation were studied. The experimental results show that the optimal digestion conditions were as follows:p H = 0. 4,TiO 2dosage = 1. 0 g / L,the initial concentration of Ce( SO4)2= 6. 0 mmol / L,solution temperature = 80 °C,and UV irradiation time = 12 min.
