Abstract
In order to evaluate the influence of supercritical CO2 extract of Schisandra chinensis (SESC) on broilers immunity. One experiment was conducted in the current study. In the experiment, two hundred 1 d old chicks were used. Chicks were randomly divided into 5 groups. The control groups were fed a basal diet, treatments were fed a basal diet supplemented with 5 mg·kg-1 flavomycin, 0.1%, 0.15% and 0.3% SESC. Immunity function was tested on the 21 st, 42 nd, and 56 th days. The results showed that SESC could significantly increase the indexes of thymus in the late growth of broilers, the diets which added 0.3% SESC could significantly increase serum antibody titers to NDV-HI and serum lysozyme activities of broilers, and also significantly increase serum IgM and spleen lymphocyte proliferation of broilers. The results showed that SC could improve immunity of broilers.
