Effects of Ligustrum Lucidum,Schisandra chinensis and MOS on Immunization and Antioxidant Status of Broilers

Effects of Ligustrum Lucidum(LL),Schisandra chinensis(SC),Mannaoligosaccharides(MOS) and Flavomycin on immunization and antioxidant status of broilers were studied.180 broilers were randomly assigned to six groups.The blank group was provided with basal diet,while the antibiotic group was provided with basal diet with addition of 5 mg/kg flavomycin.Other treatment groups were provided with basal diet plus LL(ω女贞子=0.010),SC(ω五味子=0.010),LL(ω女贞子=0.010)+MOS(ωMOS=0.005),SC(ω五味子=0.010)+MOS(ωMOS=0.005).The broilers were fed their respective diets from 1 to 56 days.Results showed that Lymphocyte proliferative responses to ConA were greater(P0.05) in all of the treatment groups.LL significantly increased antibody level(P0.05).SC and MOS could significant improve SOD activity of heart,GR activity of serum and tissues(P0.05),and could significant decrease MDA content of serum and heart of broilers(P0.05).All the results revealed that Chinese herb additives could improve immunization and antioxidant status of broilers.
