Abstract
It was performed finite element analysis for dual high-strength steel Y style Eccentrically Braced Frame with the method of finite element analysis(FEA)by ABAQUS,respectively for five different length of the energy dissipation beam section beam section of the monotonic loading and cyclic loading to study the energy dissipation beam section length's influence on the framework.Analysis indicates that energy dissipation ability of dual high-strength steel Y style Eccentrically Braced Frame is better; The longer the link beam is,the better the energy dissipation ability and ductility of the link beam is,but the length is increased to a certain degree, the bearing capacity of the structure is decreased obviously.
