Abstract
Following administration of purified Vero cell rabies vaccine prepared from CTN 1V strain,mice were challenged with SBD07 rabies virus intramuscularly and intrapenitonealy.The results showed the vaccine induced protective rates of 88.9% and 90% respectively at 1∶5 dilution,which were equivalent to those of undiluted vaccine.This study demonstrates CTN 1V strain of rabies virus can be used as production strain for the vaccine.
