Evaluation of a new inactivated primary hamster kidney cell(PHKC)purified rabies vaccine for human by laboratory tests

Abstract

A newly purified rabies vaccine from PHKC has been used in human.This vaccine was first tested for purity,safety and protective capacity in a series of laboratory tests. Compared with Vero cell rabies vaccine(France)of similar immune efficacy.The results indicated that the new vaccine was excellently safety, and its protective activity in conformation with the France rabies vaccine.
