Abstract
The kinetics of iron of oxygen pressure leaching maematite is investigated. The effects of temperature, oxygen partial pressure, initial acid concentration, partical size and concentration of Fe~(2+)added into the solution on the leaching rate of iron are examined. The experiment demonstrates that the leaching process follows the surface chemical reaction control kinetic law of“shrinking of unreacted core”in the initial stages of leaching, the leaching process follows the diffusion control kinetic law of liquid state film of solid surface in the evening of leaching and the leaching process are controlled together by the surface chemical reaction and the diffusion.
