Abstract

Caihuagou copper deposit lies in east part of south Tianshan, which is situated in south Tianshan in late Paleozoic epicontinental basin of north Talimu active belt. The bed is in strong-silicify mid-acidity lava of Lower Devonian Aerbishimaibulake formation. The bed has five mineralized alteration zones protrude above the soil from north to south, approximately parallel to each other. It is a volcano-erupt,sediment,nubbly and copper-contained pyrite bed.On the basis of overview of geological features and deposit genesis, the authors analyze anomaly characteristics of TEM and prospecting criteria, point out that northwestern deposit is favorable location of further exploration.
