Geological Characteristics of Polymetallic Deposit in Toksun County,Xinjiang Province

Abstract

Rainbow copper-lead-zinc deposit is located in south Tianshan of late Paleozoic epicontinental basin of north Talimu active belt in Toksun,Xinjiang.The bed is in silicated alteration sericitolite of Lower Devonian Aerbishimaibulake formation.Ore bodies seldom outcrop on ground surface is buried state.Good IP anomaly and TEM anomalies show on mineralized alteration zone.The deposits belong to hydrothermal deposits which are related to intermediate-acidic volcanic rocks.They are multi-genesis deposits by the superposition of the late hydrothermal transformation.
