The farmers are the major force and main body of the new countryside construction, their subject consciousness is an important symbol to establish their subjective status. The farmers severely affected the process of building new countryside by the lack of their subject consciousness. the article thoroughly analysis the main reasons of the lack of farmers subject consciousness, then explorers some ways to strengthen the farmers subject consciousness.
