Abstract
Objective:To evaluate the valus of serum protein electrophoresis(agarose gel),Bence-jones protein,bonemarrow cytology tests in multiple myeloma(MM)diagnosis.Methods:To analyze the diagnosis of MM,calculate the sensitivity and sptcificity of serum protein electrophoresis,Bence-jones protein and bone marrow cytology of.Results:The sensitivity of the serum protein gel electrophoresis was 96.6%,and the specificity was 96.4%;Bence-jones protein sensitivity was 10.5%,specificity was 98.2%;bone marrow cytology sensitivity was 51.7% and specificity 100%.Conclusion:The serum protein gel electrophoresis test is with the highest sensitivity,and simple,quick,economical and practical for the diagnosis of MM.
