Returned Sichuan Students from Japan and Education Reformation in Sichuan in Late Qing Dynasty

After Jiawu War,awaken by severe crisis of China,masses of students were sent to Japan to study advanced knowledge in order to save the Chinese nation from danger and extinction.It had sprung up a furious movement of studying in Japan in Late Qing Dynasty.As an inland area,Sichuan was not an exception,where a large amount of students returned from Japan.These returned students had played a positive role in politics,military and culture of modern history in Sichuan.Especially in educational field,the returned students from Japan had made a great contribution to the progress of modern education in Sichuan.
