Abstract
The marginal propensity to consume of urban and rural residents is measured by linear regression method;the reasons leading to the low propensity to consume of rural residents are analyzed from the perspectives of institutional factor,infrastructure,credit environment,group influence and so on;and the ways to improve the marginal propensity to consume of rural residents are finally put forward.
