Abstract

Two kinds of three-dimensional finite element models are established separately by regular hexahedron elements or tetrahedron and pentahedron elements to the expansion joint of polyglycol column reboiler, and the finite element calculation results are compared carefully between the two.It is proposed to the finite element analysis of the expansion joint that the calculation accuracy of the models of regular hexahedron elements is higher than the models of tetrahedron and pentahedron elements.
