Abstract
Three main types of soil in Qidong district have been compared in this paper and the fertility conditions of all those soil have been discovered.The result of the experiment showthat,the purple soil is the most suitable type in all those soil,the PH value and the organic content of paddy soil are higher than the normal one,the PH value,the fast-acting potassium,the effective zinc,the effective chlorinity of red soil are lower than the normal type.Therefore,purple soil is most suitable soil for the tobacco plants in this district,next is the paddy soil.For the production of good tobacco,we should emphasize on the corresponding soil amelioration and supplying the right amount nutrient to the red soil.
