Abstract
Objective The aim of this study was to investigate the prevalence of C-shaped canal of the mandibular second molars.Methods Choose native individules as study objects and 156 CT images of the mandible were collected.The incidence of C-shaped root canal system is verdicted according to its anatomic features.Results From 156 teeth,C-shaped canals were found in 66 teeth(42.3%).Conclusion The incidence of C-shaped root canal system in mandibular second molars is very high and CBCT can provide direct and accurate information for dentists.
