Abstract

A new chemiluminescence method combined with flow injection technique was developed for the determination of kaempferol. It is based on the enhancement effect of kaempferl on the chemiluminescence reaction between luminol and KMnO4 under alkaline condition. The increase of chemiluminescence intensity was linear with the kaempferl content in the range of 8×10-8~1×10-5 g·mL-1,the detection limit of the method was 1.2×10-8 g·mL-1.The relative standard deviation was 3.8%(n=11) for 1×10-6 g·mL-1 kaempferol.Various factors effecting the chemiluminescence intensity of the system were investigated. The method was applied to the determination Kaempferol in synthetic samples with satisfactory results.
