Methodological Choose of Modernity Studies——from Perspective of Habermas' Modernity Theory

Because of multi-dimensions of modernization,discourses on modernity should procede in different ways.Habermas distinguishes sociological,aesthetical,philosophical discourses on modernity.Although he agrees aesthetical modernity to some degree,his observation is limited on the philosophical dimension of modern society,rescuing modern norms through reforming Subject Reason.From Habermas' distinction of discourses on modernity and his salvation of modern norms,we get methodological choose of modernity studies,namely,perspectivist method rather than elementalist or pluralist method.
