The contention of and post-modernity has been undoubtedly a heated topic in the Western ideological circle in more than 20 years.The discourse in refers to the reflective criticism centered on the concept of modernity in modern Western society and history.As to modernity,the so-called philosophical exploration is the issue of self-understanding and self-verification, establishing the criteria for as different from either classical theories or theology.What is worth our special observation is Habermas' constructive reconstruction of the basis of criteria in modernity.
